How to prepare it

Rinse, then soak in warm water 20 to 30 minutes and keep the soaking water - it is stock. Scallops shred with your fingers once soft.

Keeping it

Airtight in the freezer once opened. This is the one category where a cupboard is not good enough in Singapore.

Bought from live, after vouchers and coins redemption only about $6 per packet. Very good deal. Product name is Japanese charcoal squid but country of origin is China?? Some pieces quite hard. Not so much cuttlefish nor charcoal taste. Good thing is not too expensive so can't complain too much.
