01 What we collect

When you place an order we collect your name, email address, contact number and, for delivery, your address and postal code, together with any delivery note or gift message you choose to add.

If you create an account we keep the same details so that you do not have to type them again, along with your sign-in record. Sign-in codes sent to your email are stored only in a scrambled form and expire after a short time.

If you sign up for our newsletter we keep your email address, the date you gave consent and the wording you agreed to.

Like most websites, our server also records ordinary technical information such as your browser type and the pages you visit.

02 Why we use it

We use your personal data to take and process your order, to arrange delivery or self-collection, to send you order updates and receipts, to answer your questions, and to keep proper business records as the law requires.

We send marketing emails only to people who have asked for them, and every one of those emails carries an unsubscribe link.

03 Payment

Card payments are handled on a secure page hosted by our payment provider, Stripe. Your full card number is entered on their page and is never received or stored by One Sunny. We keep only a reference to the payment and the amount, so that we can match it to your order and handle any refund.

04 Cookies and website measurement

This site uses cookies to keep your shopping basket and to keep you signed in. Without them the site cannot work.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which products people look at. This tells us about visits, not about you personally, and we do not use it to identify individual customers. You can block these cookies in your browser settings.

05 Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

We share only what is needed, only with the parties who help us fulfil your order: our payment provider, the delivery company or courier bringing your order to you, our email provider for order emails and newsletters, and the company that hosts this website. We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it.

06 How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for the order itself, for returns and refunds, and for the accounting and tax records we are required to keep. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Account details are kept while your account is open. When we no longer need personal data for any of these purposes, we remove it.

07 Keeping it safe

This website is served over an encrypted connection, account passwords are stored scrambled and cannot be read back, and access to customer records is limited to the people who need it to run the shop. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

08 Your choices

You may ask us what personal data we hold about you and how it has been used, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, ask us to stop sending marketing, or ask us to remove your details where we are not required to keep them. Write to us at the address in clause 09 and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer process an order or run your account, and we will tell you if that is the case.
