About lingzhi

Dried lingzhi, sold as sliced woody caps or as spore powder. The whole mushroom is hard and very bitter; the powder is milder. This pack is 300 g net, wild rather than farmed. At the quantities below that is about 30 pots. That works out at S$10.93 per 100 g.

Slices are simmered long into a soup and then discarded. Spore powder is stirred into warm water or taken with a drink.

How to prepare it

Two or three slices per litre, simmered 1 to 2 hours, then strained. Powder: follow the pack, usually a small spoon in warm water.

Airtight, dry, dark.
