About dried apple blossom
Small dried apple blossoms, pale pink to straw coloured, sold whole. Mild and faintly sweet in the cup — closer to a light floral tea than to anything appley. This pack is 100 g net. At the quantities below that is about 33 brews. That works out at S$6.50 per 100 g.
Also known as apple flower tea, ping guo hua, 苹果花, 苹果花茶, apple blossom tea.

What people use it for
Brewed on its own, or added to a flower-tea blend with rose and chrysanthemum, where it lifts the scent without taking the cup over.
How to prepare it
Five to eight buds per mug of water just off the boil, 3 to 4 minutes. It will take a second and a third brew.
Keeping it
Airtight and away from light, like every dried flower here.
Questions people ask
Does apple flower tea taste like apples?
Not really. It is floral and light — the name is the flower it comes from, not the fruit.
Does apple flower tea have caffeine?
No. It is a flower rather than a tea leaf, so it is caffeine free unless it is blended with one.
How far does this pack go?
At the quantity in the instructions above, about 33 brews from this pack.
Is the bigger pack cheaper?
This one works out at S$6.50 per 100 g. One Sunny lists most items in more than one size, so compare that figure rather than the pack price.

Reasonable delivery time about 4 days from date of order. Quality seems good, closed to the one I bought from popular store. Also received sample of hawthorn slices.

Only tried the barley so far, it's interesting that it's instantly made, it's light like popcorn, abit of roasted smell but doesn't taste like barley.. abit disappointed that the tea bag I ordered was forgotten to pack. Initially seller wanted to send the item again, but after few reminder, decided to ask for refund instead of keep waiting. Can improve on this portion. Delivery quite fast
