How to prepare it
Ready to eat. For baking, a 20 minute soak in warm water or juice plumps them up.

Airtight. Dried fruit goes sticky and can bloom sugar in humid air; the fridge stops both.

The plain dried and freeze-dried fruits have none added. Anything labelled preserved, candied or sugared does - sugar is the preservative.
