Proper leaf tea rather than a flower infusion. What is in the pack is named in the title. This pack is 500 g net. At the quantities below that is about 100 pots. That works out at S$1.76 per 100 g.
Also known as chinese tea, loose leaf tea.

What people use it for
Brewed in a pot or gaiwan and re-infused several times, the way tea is drunk at home and at dim sum.
How to prepare it
About 5 g of leaf to a 200 ml pot. Green and lightly oxidised teas want water around 85C; oolong and roasted teas take it boiling. Short first infusion, longer each time after.
Keeping it
Keep Refrigerated
Questions people ask
How many times can I re-brew the leaves?
Three to six, depending on the tea. Oolongs such as tie guan yin and da hong pao go furthest.
Does it have caffeine?
Yes. Anything made from the tea plant does - green, oolong, black and pu erh alike. The flower teas do not.
How far does this pack go?
At the quantity in the instructions above, about 100 pots from this pack.
Is the bigger pack cheaper?
This one works out at S$1.76 per 100 g. One Sunny lists most items in more than one size, so compare that figure rather than the pack price.
