Questions people ask

What is the difference between American and Korean ginseng?

They are different species and they taste different: American ginseng is pale and slightly bitter with a sweet finish, Korean red ginseng is darker, sweeter and much stronger in the pot. Cooks use them in different soups, and they are priced differently.

Slices, roots, tails or powder?

Same root, different cuts. Slices for brewing, whole roots for double-boiling, tails for soups where looks do not matter, powder when you do not want to strain.
